Sad news for you, Jocke, as well as his family plus his other friends here. I hope all can pull through this difficult time.

I have fond memories of the many trips you two made to Basel.

John and his wife are the definition of hospitality, they invited me over to Scotland many times and we shared great camping trips. It all started with a simple PM here on TRF from John, inviting a complete stranger on a watch forum over.

I'll never forget those great moments.

Like many I was a looker for many years

before I joined RF last year ......I had so many things going on (death of my mother/brother, before that my son) a Rolex was the last thing on my mind. Then since I hit 60ish things kind of smoothed out and once again I was back looking at a Rolex....I cant remember his name but he raised horses? and lived in the UK I think...then I read he died and he seemed like such a nice young man.....if I remember he had just married, but I may be getting mixed up with somebody else in my old age. I'm guessing 10 years ago? Does any long timers remember who I'm talking about?

I believe that you're referring to Grumpy Badger. He was another that we lost too soon.
