I just received the following PM from a brand new TRF member, Mikky54 (0 posts) and I think it's a phishing attempt because the link, which appears to be genuine TRF, required my login credentials after I was already logged in... I didn't take the bait....

Thanks for the PSA. Good rule of thumb is not to click links from people you don't know or that you're not expecting to receive.

Very basic and obvious phishing attempt.

While this one is a poor attempt it’s important to stay diligent and on guard.

I always thought I was too smart to be tricked but I did get fooled by a much more elaborate Lyft phishing attempt about a year ago.

Stay sharp!

It's never a good idea to post the fraudulent links in your posts!!!!

Also, you should know if you're a reference for buyers/sellers or not.

Mods should remove the link from the initial post so people don’t accidentally click it. I’m sure many people already have and you just helped this scammer out!!
