It is where I got into the Seiko divers a number of years ago. I do not have any left but did enjoy them while I had them.

Same for me. A generous TRF member surprised me w/ an Orange Monster. I instantly fell for it and Seiko in general. Then my bro-in-law saw it and flipped, so I gave it to him and he continues to wear it proudly today.

I enjoy discontinued models I guess! I like those first generation models you people are posting. These watches are lots of fun and less stress wearing.

Fyi: The Omega Seamassters have a tell on thier movement. Four lines of text Automatic. Three lines Quartz. (2264.50) Always ready to go when needed!

mine from 2003. this thread inspired me to pull it out this morning. Set the time, gave it a little shake and off it goes...



This is another one I picked up a year after- I sent it to Yobokies to get the "Sinn" mods -6/9/12 dial, airplane second hand and matte beaded case with oyster style bracelet...



still going strong too....
