Welcome.
Not sure what you mean about not keeping good time. Is it a new or an older model and what kind of time keeping do you mean? If it's running consistently x number of seconds fast or slow it may well be an accurate watch just in need of regulation. If it's inconsistent in it's time keeping it could be in need of service or some internal adjustment. Crown down normally will cause the watch to run a tad slower. Modern Rolex watches are amazingly consistent reguardless of position so this may not work at all for your particular example. Can you provide a little more information? Age, rate, etc.... |

Thanks Mike
sorry for the lack of information. it's a 16610 Sub, 3 months old. It was 27 seconds fast over the last week, which I know is within COSC, but the week before it was slow by about a minute so the difference is not consistent... I wear it every day... |

The best thing to do is tie a string to it and hang the watch from your door sill.....it will keep perfect time.

I don't think that this is a good site to check up-to-the-second accuracy..
they tell you in the many sections they hve that their "World Clock" may be off by some secnds with UTC time, and to use a different time-source if you need accuracy.. use a recognised time standard such as Time.gov, or USNO time..
