16550 Explorer II is the best of the 5 digit Explorer IIs

Prefer the aesthetic of the White Gold marker surrounds on all 5 digit references.

I enjoyed so many but the 16710 & 14060m were the stand outs for me.
If I ever get another 5 digit, it'll be one of those two.

Explorer 14270 and Submariner 16610LV for me. The latter especially due to the maxi dial and green aluminium bezel but keeping the lightweight hollow centre link bracelet, stamped clasp and slim case.

I believe the 16710 is the most versatile watch rolex ever made!

I'm looking at going back to a 5 digit reference. It's a toss up between a 16610 LV and a 16710. I love the GMT as I really like the 24 Hour hand, and it was my first Rolex 39 years ago.

Hope is not a strategy.

Have to put my “5 digit” vote in for the 16570 polar Exp II because it’s the only one I own. :-) (The GMT’s are pretty nice, though.)

14060 2-liner. Just my 2₵ here, but it's quite hard to beat! Perfect dial symmetry, superb legibility, little text, very comfortable bracelet etc. I just wish the tritium lume wasn't dead. I believe it could be re-lumed, but I won't have the dial and hands fiddled with...!
