Wow we’ve had two different threads with people having colon cancer. I looked it up and didn’t realize the rising incidence.

Keep fighting! I have a family member who beat stage IV Lymphoma and friend who beat stage IV pancreatic cancer. Neither was an easy journey but both are first hand examples what is possible.

Congrats on the watch! That same DJ was my first Rolex and it makes me smile every time I see one. Hope you have a chance to wear it for many years!

It's a serious problem with younger adults right now. The oncology doctors and nurses I talk to say that over 50% of their colorectal cancer patients are now under the age of 45. I have my own personal theories all revolving around plastics. Anything from being raised on more harmful packaging (BPAs) to the abundance of microplastics we ingest into our bodies, even to the effects of PFAS from nonstick pan coatings.

Congrats love your DJ set up. I ordered one years ago on an Oyster thinking the Jub and Fluted would make it too busy but when they showed me one with the Jub I took it as it worked so well together. Wear it well, as we also say!

Hey Dave,

Dang, my friend, my allergies are acting up horribly. It must be that because my eyes are leaking. Seriously, I can truly identify with your health issues.

Please count on my prayers every single day.

Blessings,

Steve

Nice watch! I've been one of the team on the other side of your struggle (opposite side of the needle) for many years and absolutely love a good watch conversation when another enthusiast lands in my chair for testing or treatment, so roll up that sleeve, it might make someone else's day too.

Congratulations on all your life’s blessing including the family you started, the house you were able to purchase and the watch you’ve finally been able to obtain. My prayers are here for you and your loved ones and may you continue to fight that hard fight and only hope you battle it until you’ve won.

Beautiful piece. Timeless classic that goes well in any event. Keep enjoying it

Lovely watch, something nice to think about and look at in times of need. Done the chemo and radiation route with my late wife. Hang in there, life is tough.

The 'White Gold' DJ is hard to beat. I got mine atChristmas. My reference is what I call the 'Iced coffee' black, with diamonds! I too did not have time to wait ( but then does anyone really) I'm so happy that you have your watch. Good luck sir!

Congrats on the watch and stay strong, win your battle with this hideous disease and make memories with your watch along the way.

Beautiful watch. I'm wishing you many Rolex services in your future. And when you finally pass this watch on may it have a lifetime of wear and tear.
