Vespa/Scooter love

Recently picked up a Vespa Sprint. Added top case, crash bars, black short side mirrors and a side kick stand. Anyone else ride a scooter?

Congrats on your new Vespa.

Yes, I have a 2020 Vespa GTS and a 2011 Vespa LX150ie. I have sold all my big motorcycles.

Michelle, if you haven't already, check out ModernVespa.com.

Great forum, just like this one and a wealth of knowledge. You would be more than welcome there.

Nice Vespa Michelle, have fun, stay safe.
I owned a Lambretta GT200 in the 60's. As a teenager, my first motorised transport...what a hoot! Those small wheels and 'nylon' tyres, were treacherous on wet roads.

Not my photo'. Cameras hadn't been invented!

Congratulations Michelle

We ride them while on vacation and everything we get home we say we should buy one They are a lot of fun and so practical, especially for city dwellers. I could see us using them here in our village as well.

There’s just something so cool about a Vespa

We ride them on vacations as well and finally did buy one for summer use in Jersey. A Vespa 150 . Green with yellow stripe. Still on the battery tender for now, though I saw many out yesterday at a local car show.

I rode a Vespa when I was a teen and like many others have said already, rent one whilst on vacation in beach locales. Love them

Congratulations, looks sweet!

Growing up in Italy I rode all sorts of scooters (moped for Americans), including Vespas, but never owned one. They are very practical for urban mobility, and make things fun.

I now have a motorcycle but ride it very sporadically, in fact I keep wondering why I am keeping it... but riding is such a joy!

Great looking Vespa's. I had thought about a GTS but I won't be going on the freeway so the 150 Sprint was perfect for me. Love the color of the 150.

Cool vintage Vespa. I see these around the city every now and then.

Looks like fun.

Apparently some people like to accessorize them. Scotty may have gone a bit overboard.

Thanks. The GTS has a lot of giddy up. I never take it on the freeway, just secondary roads. The 150 is just perfect for most of the riding I do around town.

Big and little Hondas. 25-ish years ago I picked up this little 49cc Honda Spree with the intent to use it for buzzing around the campground. Well life happened, I never registered it and we never really camped very much. The Spree is complete and all stock and now I'm thinking it might be a hoot to get it running again to buzz around the neighborhood for no good reason.

I say go for it. Looks like it would be a lot of fun. I had a Genuine Buddy 170i a few years ago. Small with 10" wheels. So fun to zip around on. My back didn't enjoy it very much though. The Vespa is much smoother ride
