After removing the bracelet of my sub I found the model no. 2950417 at the 6 O'clock position. Do you guys have any info regarding this model?

Hello All- I'm new to the site. I work for a jeweler in Baltimore and we receive many interesting Rolexs in, however, I have yet to see a tt black sub- does anyone know if this was a piece ever in production?

The initials LN stand for the french words Lunette Noir = Black Dial (LB= Blue, LV=Green etc).
So, there is no actual difference between those two models, except that for the second one it's known the dial color. |

No, "C" indicates that it has a ceramic bezel. So far all Submariners with ceramic bezels have a date function. There is currently no definitive information regarding the fate of the no-date Sub, it may be updated with a ceramic bezel or it may be discontinued. It hasn't been listed on the Rolex website for quite some time.

The new Rolex Submariner shown at Basel 2012 is a no-date ceramic bezel Sub. Should be hitting AD's by Fall of this year... |

just out of curiosity, are the weights of these watches the same with SEL and hollow end links? You would think that the Subs with the older 93150 and 501B would be slightly less in weight
