Such a simple fix !

i have always been partial to the Daytona and have owned several.
But I have always accepted the fact that, frankly at 72 years old, I have great trouble with legibility.
For a changeup I just purchased a black dial sapphire sandwich Speedmaster Pro and telling time at a glance is no problem. The answer is the white hands, not to mention dial color matching subdials.
I have the new all white model coming in next week and I'm betting it will be just as easy.
Viva la contrast !

Simply a great watch and a fantastic companion on a daily basis. Nice that it has solved your "problem". Look forward to your view on both the back and white

Glad you are enjoying it Mark.

I’ve always had the same feeling. Legibility is far better on the Speedmaster

It would’ve been way better to save some money by going to the eye doctor and getting a new pair of glasses. keep wearing your Daytona!!!!

I have owned all of the Daytona's over the years in all of the metals. Great flex watch and a lot of fun but I find my Speedmasters to be the one for me. I like the case, dial and legibility better, not to mention the price. I also enjoy the various straps and bracelets that easily fit. Enjoy.

I love the legibility of my Speedy. In my collection, it's only matched by my Panerai Luninor. I actually traded in a Tudor 79280 (pre-Tiger, "Oyster Date") because I found it too difficult to read the time. Aging eyes.

I love my Speedmaster and its outstanding legibility, too. If anyone here is having too much trouble making out the time on your Daytonas then you can send those my way. I'll wear them a while and see if I can figure out the problem
