Wishing you the best OP, keep fighting. Both your thread and watchnlaw's has inspired me to get a colonscopy done asap. I am around your age.

i was diagnosed last september with colon cancer at age 49. my heart goes out to you. hope you are here for a long time and nothing but the best. they seemed to have caught mine early, but wish i had done the colonoscopy a year earlier when i was originally supposed to. watches are a nice distraction though

Best of luck with the treatment. Sometimes a watch purchase can really mean something of significance. Hope this one commemorates the beginning of a new long stage of life and ongoing health.

Time is running out on all of us, because none of us know how much of it we have left. What's important, is that you have family that loves you, and things in life that make you smile and feel good on any given day.. like your Datejust.
A classic example of why, a timepiece on an enthusiast's wrist, does much more to the inside of a person, than just telling us what time it is.
Be well and be safe!

Hey bud,

I will add to what many have already said - Prayers to you and your family. May your treatments be a success. Bless the hands of the doctors and scientists treating this cancer. I hope your body can fight and you have many more years of wearing that gorgeous Rolex.

Awesome watch! My first Rolex was a Datejust also. My prayers are with you for a complete recovery and for strength for you and your family as you continue to fight this.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Blessings to your health and the medical staff helping you, and to your family. That’s a beautiful watch and I’m emailing my AD tonight to see if I can get one as well. I liked the white dial with Roman numerals, but yours is better. Thanks for the helping me realize this.

Stunning watch and thankful you get to enjoy it while you fight this battle.

I know people that have beat incredible odds and I hope the same for you.

Keep your positive attitude…this could very well just be the first Rolex in your collection.
