I need a Ceramic GMT 2 bezel

Does anyone know where I can find a replacement ceramic bezel?

Thanks!

Rolex AD's may be able to replace a damaged ceramic insert, otherwise its back to a service center. The c-inserts are not readily available on the open market, and appear to be very expensive to replace. Did you damage yours?

Not much you are going to be able to do except take it to a service center. They will probably want to fully service the watch before they put a new bezel on it. I wonder how much a ceramic bezel setup would be? Could get pricey.

Yes I did damage it with very sharp metal object. I'll go to my closest Rolex dealer and keep you all informed.

I was told by RSC Dallas it was was around $400.00 to replace during service because ceramic ones are not included in price of service like old inserts are

The retail price for the bezel complete for a SS GMTII is £676 ($1324) + plus applicable taxes in your country.Prices quoted are from Rolex material dept as of a few weeks ago price could have gone up now.

But watch has to go back to a RSC for fitting so there will be a labour charge I would expect.

Hi Padi, thanks for the very specific info.

I wonder if parts prices vary as much as Rolex watch prices do country-to-country?
I have noticed price differences of over 30+% on recommended retail for watches.

Obviously currency fluctuations change things day-to-day, but for example the AU$ has been over the US$ for a while now, but our retail prices still way high.

Ouch...that's expensive. sorry to hear you damaged your bezel. After reading all the $numbers about the repair cost I'm very happy I have insurance for my watch who does cover damage to my watches even I cause them myself!
Good luck with your repair.

For UK TRF'ers:

I asked my AD for prices just out of curiosity a couple of weeks agao & he said:

"....I have spoken to rolex in reference to your enquiry.
If it is just the bezel insert that would need to be fitted the prices are as follows:
GMT II £225.00 plus VAT
Sub £300.00 plus VAT
The prices would be higher if damage was to have been done and they would put the price of a service
on top of the bezel fee which at the moment is £330.00"

I talked to one of my ad accounts today and a bezel complete is 615 retail and the insert alone is 435. Available at Rolex only. Rik
