Icon2 I have a feeling you’ll all hate me for this but

I prefer slower beat movements. 18000-21800 area.

While faster beats are more accurate and harder to make and maintain without added skills, slower is so nice to stare at on a dial face and hear. Less full sweep and buzzy. To me anyway.

What about you all, and please don’t yell

I picture you as the adult version of Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes. Sooo many questions. Unusual perspectives. Highly imaginative. And spending a lot of time talking to imaginary friends. All of that is meant as a sincere compliment.

I’ll report myself.

Although eventually reaching 28,800BPH, Rolex never got up to 36,000BPH like Girard Perregaux, Seiko and Longines did - even back in the 1969s and 70s - so probably not many here care, nor understand, what you're on about.

Easier to dance to slower beats.

Never really gave it much thought. I am mesmerized by the spring drive movement, so the smoother the better IMO. I’ll take a high-beat movement.

I just prefer staring at slower beat watches. I feel more connected to the watch and the ticking sound is pleasant.

Lately you've had a fixation with movements.

Perhaps you're not getting enough fiber.
