Tried this Lepsi app. On one of my correctly running watches the pattern was nearly straight down the middle with a very slight lean. I believe the end result was -2ms.

On the watch that is running fast there was no distinct pattern. Little blue dots everywhere and no final reading.

What did you AD say when you asked them about this problem?

Haven't been to the AD yet. Going tomorrow around lunch. I did speak to the AD over the phone and they recommend bringing it in and sending it to the RSC. They didn't predict any problem getting it fixed.

Can get demagnetisers online for not too much or if friendly with the high school physics dept they can probably do it if you trust them

Just a quick update. Watch was dropped off at AD and will be sent off to RSC in New York. Since i had warranty card dated 2021 the AD had no concern that the watch will be corrected under warranty.

And for an extra $150 pick up an Ace Timegrapher too. That way you know how all your watches perform.

Quick update.

Received call from AD advising RSC is very backed up and that the watch should be returned by mid-December. If earlier, she will call. She also advised no charges as watch is under warranty.

It is just an inconvenience. Haven't really been able to wear it much, but currently have others to wear.

Approximately 10 seconds too fast?

Well, you’ll never be late for a meeting at that rate.

Sounds like it’s fast by 40 minutes a day?

Ya know it would’ve been easier for a watchmaker to degauss than anything else. And it doesn’t leave any residual evidence that could void a warranty.

Or DIY it…https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/ho...ize-your-watch

Quick update for those who are interested in the watch being sent to the RSC.

AD called yesterday and advised that the watch had come in and was ready for pick up. No charge, under warranty. 2021 model. So far so good. Besides the extended wait time, the process was very straight forward. Sorry for finger prints...

Unfortunately there was no documentation or explanation as to why the watch was running aprox 10 seconds per minute fast..... I was really curious. The AD had no ideas either.....

I have personally experienced running fast with following cases:

1. The watch is magnetized. But new Rolex has better anti-magnetic parts than the last model, so I think the chances to get magnetized was small, unless you work in a special environment.

2. There was one time I was wearing my Rolex while I was doing HIIT sport, so it made my watch running fast, but it return back to regular accuracy after 1 day.

I wonder how common this is?
I've had my TT DJ for over 20 years and my cousin a bluesy for over 30 years and we never even heard of this magnetise until I joined this group!
