Enamel world timer

Question for the ones that have a passion for the enamel world timers- do you know how often the "map" on the dial changes? I liked the previous iteration with the full world map, not the biggest fan of the Asia focus of the current iteration. Anyone have a guess when the next dial format might come?

What have the most recent ones been?

Thanks

If 5231 follows the course of 5131 both 5231R and P are still outstanding. So far each 5131 in all its 4 metals and the 5231J and G have each had a specific map. I don't think the next one should be more than 1 or 2 years away if they do release a 5231R and/or 5231P. Then again who knows what they are thinking these days.

As mentioned, Patek change the view with each new iteration of the piece, but just to correct, none of them has ever had the whole world map.

Very happy just learned this week My application was accepted and the 5231g is currently being shipped to the authorized retailer. Oceania and South Asia would not be my first choice, however, the enamel on this particular model appears to be much more vibrant than previous models. Will post when I pick up. Good luck to everyone.

That was a very western world centric view of mine, appreciate the correction!

And thanks for the insight

Not wanting to correct the experts, just asking, did the early Cottier-made references from the late forties not contain the whole World map?

There was a pocket watch version with the entire world that went for auction but don't remember a wristwatch one

Sorry guys, that's not a World Time watch, it's just a watch with an enamel dial of the World.

Indeed. It is beautiful though.
As you said, there appear to be no complete maps of the World in PP WT wristwatches.
I believe this is the pocket watch referred to above:
