Are we talking about the white dial 116500? If so, never fell in love with it myself. Went with the black dial 116500 for its sleeker look.

If we’re talking about a true “panda” Daytona like the 6263, then that’s another story.

if we are talking about the 116500ln then yes. I can say I believe I have. It was my grail watch. the watch I thought that once I got it I would be done with all others. Ever since the hype went absolutely nutty to the point where they are reselling used for USD 39000 I have not been a big fan of it. My main issues are the lack of a date.... NOT that I want a date on the daytona but rather that I prefer to choose a watch with date function I have found. I find myself always going for the Sub 41 or the Apple watch and my daytona sits in the safe. I am on "the list" for a datejust 41 jubilee black dial in steel with fluted bezel at my AD and when/if I ever get the call for that then my daytona will be sold.

I suspect if you give it a bit of time, you'll fall in love with it again. Throw it in a safe for a season, and I bet you'll love it all over again with fresh eyes.

Like dpt calvin, black was my preference and the one I went with. To my eyes, the black is the sleeker, more elegant looking of the two, but I also really like the WG 116519.

No panda/white dial but have a black 520, black 500, and white dial in TT and they by far are my least worn. Probably been 6 months or so.

Why? Idk really. Does wear small and I love a date on my watches plus I'm in my PM love affair/phase atm.

Oddly enough or pure stupidity of me I'm chasing a 505 or 515 to make a hat trick with my 326935 and 126715. Why chase a PM Daytona when I dont wear the ones I have? Like I stated I'm nuts. But seriously the weight difference will ease the majority of my concerns and it would make one helluva a trio in RG

Also as others have stated my tastes have changed alot over the years. Was all about SS. Then all about TT. Now all I'm chasing is Everose. At some point when I hopefully cure the Everose itch I may switch back to SS. Probably not TT ever again but peoples wear habits change so why get rid of it now when as soon as you do you will want another. 1,000,000,000%

Been down that road many many many times. Got something, fell out of love and sold it, then wanted it back like crazy

I must agree… I own multiple DDs, a Sub, GMTs… and the lack of date is a bother to me as well.

Still my favourite Daytona in the stable.

I prefer watches with no date. Much easier to pick up, wind, set and go.

The Daytona just wears so well.

I would't say out of love but i never really bonded with it, it's my least worn watch by a long ways and has been sense i got it in January of 2018. I just have too much FOMO to sell it. It just sits there looking lonely as as all of its brothers and sisters get more love.

Just saw Stefano Domenicali wearing one today at the FIA gala 2021. Daytona is an amazing watch, and for racing fans there really is no other watch that really identifies with with the sport (maybe the Monaco).

Love love love my white dial 116500 I've had since 2017. I've been told by TRF members its referred to as a Panda in some countries, not sure why but who cares...Fantastic watch!

Had one. Sold in a couple of months. Nice watch but hard to read, no date and I never wanted to use the chronograph with the screw-in pushers. Went to an AP chrono.
