Thanks! She’s already messaged me to ask if I will make it again - absolutely. What’s funny is I cooked a lot before we got married 17 years ago, and she did too, so after we got married, she pushed me out to the grill and took over the kitchen. I think she forgets the meals I cooked her while we dated that won her over.

Grilled some monster pork chops with our dry rub tonight and served it with a red blend from one of our favorite wineries in Washington tonight. The wine is part of celebrating that I’m telling my boss tomorrow I am retiring next month!

Thanks guys. I’ve spent 3 days talking to my boss with her asking me to stay 6 more months - no, working part time (which I know would be full time) at the same pay with no benefits - insulting, and playing the “I consider you a friend” card trying to guilt me into it. March 18th is my last day!

That blackened snapper looks great. I grew up in AL where we got fresh snapper all the time - I really miss that. Being a landlocked state, we can still get seafood, but it’s usually been frozen and then thawed to sell.
