Rolex 3135 shock spring advise
Hi guys,
Have lost a shock spring locking clip for a 3135. It is the shock that is for the escape. It flew after coming adrift after lifting to lube the jewel and I have been looking for over 4 hours with no luck. I know it's a KEF & possibly a Elastor style. How to measure would be a great help as I have never had to order one in the past so a bit lost. |

It is Kif type 3 (Elastor) which will narrow it down for you. Not sure what size though.
It's Rolex part 4494. |

Thanks Dom, Ordered a Elastor BUT fitting it is a absolute nightmare. I spent 4 hours & eventually bent the replacements. Wondering if I can use my jeweling tools when my re-order arrives.

After some experience it takes me literally 2 seconds to put a KIF shock spring back in place. The key is to put the jewels in first and then you lay the spring on top of the jewel, lined up perfectly with the indents of the assembly. Then you simply just slide the spring and click in its position! Piece of cake
