Curious about the "swiss made" gmt master. It only seems to be on black bezel late 97/early 98 Masters in between plenty of 97's with t-25 and swiss only 98-99's.

Up till 1960 Rolex used the word SWISS then dials were Radioactive Radium from around early 1960 the change to Tritium lume Rolex used T.Swiss.T less than 277 MBq (7.5mCi) and Swiss <T25 less than 925 MBq (25mCi)on there dials, depending on how much radioactivity they had this was from 1960 till mid/late 1998.Swiss only dials were then used with Luminova from 1998 to 2000, then after 2000 back to Swiss Made with Superluminova, and now with a slight colour change to more on the blue spectrum we have Chromalight .

Swiss Made appears on every Rolex after ~2000 so I’m not really sure what you’re referring too. |
