GMT Rootbeer

A friend of mine is looking to buy a Rootbeer. It looks like these are not available through a ADs for MSRP, and that resale / grey market is the only option? If that's the case I know where to look - was hoping to get some quick advice on the matter. thanks in advance.

Any of the trusted sellers on this forum should be able to get him a Rootbeer.

I have experience with Takuya & just a few weeks ago with OCRolexguy. Both were great to work with & I had my watch the very next day.

I would think an authorized dealer would be able to supply one with a reasonable wait. The demand for the tutone GMTs is way less than for the SS models.

Chrono 24 is a good shout, plus if you click on the store listed it’s sometimes cheaper ..

You can get a Rootbeer for very close to retail price with any of the resellers here and on other venues/platforms. You will get one quicker than any AD, but there is still a premium depending on year and condition. Full box and papers with a pretty recent build date, we're talking around $18k, which is about a $1500 premium over today's new retail price (around $16,500). It used to retail for $15,000 but prices gone up.

As others have said, the Rootbeer is not the most in-demand Rolex, so you may be able to wait and get one.
