My Dad's Breitling

I have my Dad's Breitling, Navitimer, of course it's not working but it is from the 1950's or early 1960's. On the case it's stamped Breitling, Stainless steel and the number #806. Of course it's a chronograph, the dial is black and it looks like the hands and hour markers at on time might of glowed. I would of asked about it years ago but I just happened upon it today when I was cleaning out a cabinet..........
If anyone has any information I would appreciate your thoughts, comments and input!!!

I did Google Breitling-Navitimer and the dial configuration matches the dials from 1954 to 1955 with the AOPA incorporated in the Wing on the dial with the Breitling name on the back of the case with the number #806. The Breitling name does not appear on the dial just the name Navitimer above the bottom sub-dial.......
