Vegas AD Stock

We all know the struggle finding a BLNR or SS Daytona at an AD when walking in. Im curious if at the Las Vegas AD's I have a better chance of being there at the right place at the right time. Do these AD's keep lists or since most people are only there for a couple days at a time and a majority are out of towners you have a better chance of snagging a hard to find model the day they arrive. I generally make 4 trips out there a year and in April saw a couple SS sports models but no BLNR's or Daytonas.

try vacation spots that is only open 1/2 of the year. They tend to not have regular customers and not have lists but steady supply due to limited time per year they get to have customers.

Sorry, but no. They’re also careful about who they’re selling to since so much flippers.

I doubt the Vegas AD's are different to anywhere else.

Here is tip ... Ask for BLNR and not a Batman and your odds go up exponentially.

If you’re going to be there already you might as well drop in. Chances are there won’t be anything available as Vegas gets a lot of foot traffic and interest from buyers.

You'd be better off in a rural area at a family owned AD.
Vegas, NYC etc would actually decrease chances but you never know.

Local Vegas ADs can't even take care of the local buyers!

The tourists don't stand a chance.

Best of Luck! LV is tough place to find high demand watches.

Currently sitting in the Vegas airport and just visited 10-15 different watch stores. The only one I found with SS models was Hyde park in caesars (black and white explorer II) but it wasn’t in the case and we had to ask.

Currently in Vegas and I visited all of the Rolex ADs, not a sniff of any desirable modes.

Every AD I went into stressed how important a “relationship” or purchase history was.

The Rolex boutique in Caesar’s pulled a blue dial TT Sub out of the back for me, and tried to tell me how rare it was.

Tesorini in the Bellagio had a TT Skydweller in the case (black dial), and lots of PM Daytona variants I’ve never come across before.

One thing that struck me about a couple of the shops was how tatty the stock was. In the Wynn boutique they have a platona which looks like it has been in the case for years, most of the stickers now missing. And in Tesorini they had a WG GMT Master which was again missing most of its case stickers.

Same story for Patek, although one of the places did confess to having a 5712 in steel out the back (not sure if that’s just because I had one on, and he knew the was a 99.9% chance I wasn’t buying another, so he felt it safe to mention.)

All in all, a decent trip but some watch candy would have been nice. On another note, I’ve clocked all manner of watches while in town, including 10+ stainless Daytonas, and the first 5711 I’ve ever seen in the wild.
