Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed. To me it’s the only way to wear a watch.

It survived checking a transfer case for a leak

Still a great companion on farms

Didn’t get lost playing bar poker at the American Legion

Bees didn’t hurt it even though one of em got me

It makes green tractors look better when they’re in its presence

A fantastic companion for enjoying a ride in the deuce

Thank you all for the kind words. My only hope from this thread is that it inspires someone to wear and enjoy their watch without caution (beyond situational awareness and common sense).

It’s safe to wear when accidentally crashing the governors press conference.

Also safe to wear when running missions for FWC and FHP.

Thanks for reminding everyone these watches were made to be used and that Rolex makes one of the most robust watches out there. You're braver than me. I don't obsess over every scratch, I wear everyone one of mine, but I do take them off when I'm doing any kind of manual labor that might beat them up. Great post.

I’ve owned many watches. Most didn’t last a year through the hell I put them through. Almost at 3 yrs with my Rolex and although it needed service it’s because it wasn’t serviced for the prior 22-23 yrs.

It may not look like what most here call a “tool watch” but it fits the bill.

I bought my Rolex because it was heralded for its toughness, accuracy and ability to timelessly go through all sorts of lives without any thought. The men I looked up to wore their Rolex watches through whatever life threw at them, they weren’t the kind of guys worried about a scratch.

The ability to repair back to like brand new just solidifies this thinking in my head. I paid a fairly significant amount of money for something I wear on my wrist to tell time, it isn’t worth a dime if it won’t hold up through what I require it to.

Thanks for your post!!

Just came across this thread, outstanding! People at work call me crazy for wearing my SubDate 24/7, I wish they were on this thread so I could tell them “I told you so”
