Any interest in the new Pilots?

I have a disturbing desire for the ceramic……Im curious about the case material, love the movement and the dial, seems much warmer than an IWC mark xx. Pricey though….

Your thoughts?

The new Pilots are interesting, especially the ceramic case. The dial is certainly a modern take on the Pilot. I love that the case is not over 40mm.

I tend to lean towards the classic designs like the Type 20. In this vein, I recently acquired a Chronomaster Original.

I really like the new Pilot, just wish there was an AD around my area to try it on before pulling the trigger. I think it would look awesome on an NDC strap (green/yellow).

I'm new to Zenith...are they still available at a significant discount? 20%?

me, had it for a brief while. value for money, looks like a million bucks on the wrist.
it's alittle thick but that's fine with me
the only issue is the 1/10th second hand, gives u the jitters if you stare at it.

bracelet finish is done well, the taper is great.
the free extra rubber strap with deployant clasp is cherry ontop.

i say go for it, either dial is fine but blue is my pick

Hello all,

I am considering a Chronomaster Original 38mm with the reverse panda dial, vs the Chronomaster Revival Shadow. I am wondering if anyone has had the chance to own either, or perhaps even better, had tried on both, and can comment on its Pros and Cons.

I am slightly leaning on the reverse panda, because it is more flexible with its case material. I like the cleaner look of the Shadow however, because of the lack of date window. But as the date window is black on the reverse panda, I am not bothered as much.

I'd be curious as for those who'd have an opinion on this. Thanks in advance.

Zenith is really an under appreciated brand. I just add a Defy Skeleton

BTW, before anyone says this is a copying RO, the original Zenith Defy was actually released in 1969, 3 years before Genta's famous Royal Oak. Although it clearly also takes inspiration from the iconic Royal Oak.

I’ll add here: the dial is nice but the strap is very, very light colored. Tried the 36 and am obsessed with that watch, but the strap would never get worn with the light blue version. No big deal if you’ll only ever use bracelet, or want to buy other straps.

Dark blue better overall I think but I’m holding out to see if they do the white or black in 36. That watch is my favorite in-production non-Rolex at the moment and for those with smaller wrists or who just like smaller watches it’s worth a look.

Much as I love the new Skyline, I do wish Zenith had kept this case silhouette and dial design. The Skyline 36 is preferable to the Midnight (the latter of which was very much a ladies watch) but the simplicity of this one is difficult to beat.

This is an amazing watch, looks great on you.

I thought about this reference, but I just didn't like the 1/10 small seconds counter. I understand the coolness factor, especially in a chrono, but on a time only watch, it just means you can't even set the time precisely.

That aside, very sexy watch and I appreciate the pics!

I'm LOVING this one. And having fun swapping straps. Waiting on dark green. Likely going to order yellow.

No longer with me, nothing negative to say other than I have a watch problem.
I’ve had a few of these and non stuck. The size was great for my 6.5 but they never seemed to crack the rotation.

Nice. I take it this is an aftermarket strap?

To Zenith fans out there, what do you think of the 38mm Chronomaster Original with the gray strap? The so-called online e commerce exclusive. Ref 03.3200.3600/34.C869. It’s been on the market for a few years.

This reference has tone graduations in the radial outer dial. What I like are its vintage origins derived from 1969’s original chronomaster A386(?) and the unique changes in the dial.
