Has anyone bought BLRO recently from AD?
My AD told me that she hasn't seen a single BLRO in good 8 months. So I was thinking maybe Rolex production issue is real (yes I searched and read some bezel color production issues blah blah). By the way, the Rolex store I go to only sells Rolex, No other watches or jewelry.
Not sure how long it's going to go for but it makes me curious if it's still in production or not Has anyone bought BLRO recently from ADs? Please share! Last edited by dextroam11; 9 December 2023 at 11:31 AM.. Reason: Change icons |

I had a SA in Vegas a month ago tell me he hadn’t seen one in months and speculated about the production issues. Seems to be a pretty strong rumor.
They had a BLNR exhibition but hadn’t seen BLRO’s in a while. |

My AD told me on Wednesday that they've seen about the same amount of Pepsis this year, but more jubilee than oyster.

I have a hard time believing an AD has not seen a SS BLRO in nearly a year.
We’ve had like three or more incomings of them on TRF alone in the last month and this is a very small sample size. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

So maybe if the AD tells you he has seen none, you will buy another watch.

I do not believe a US Boutique has only received one BLRO all year.

I picked up the WG meteorite last week. But I suspect that, if Rolex begins running short of the Pepsi bezels, it is likely to remove them from/discontinue the PM references last.

Well something is happening for sure.
Either end of production or maybe manufacturing technical issue related to the bezel. I see a lot of Sub being delivered lately, including Starbucks but hardly any BLROs.

Even if it was end in production I doubt it would stop production like this. I feel like there will just be a mk3 variant or something

It won’t be discontinued.
And there is also an Mk3 version - so it would be mk4. Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk Pro |

I got one 3 weeks ago. And my AD told me the last one they saw before this one was in July. They also suspect it may be the last they receive.

My AD (who sold me my BLRO on jubilee last year) has been telling me for the last six months that the BLRO is far rarer than the white Daytona and blue skydweller.

Yes, lots of people, right here, from this forum. There have been a lot of BLRO incoming threads, of late.
We need to stop believing every rumor we hear, about trouble with the red and blue ceramic bezel having halted production. Why would it only be the red and blue, not the blue and black, or the green, or the rootbeer? Also, other companies are producing homage watches with the same color ceramic bezel, without issues. If you want the BLRO, which is a high demand piece, and you are tired of waiting, just go grey…. Kat Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

I don’t know if the rumors are true but there are significantly less BLROs available on Moda, for instance, than there were several months ago. By my count, there has been 1 for sale in December and 4 in November on there. Looking back, there was 9 for sale in June. LA Watchworks won’t service a BLRO bc of the brittleness of the Pepsi bezel specifically. Something is going on with these bezels. I guess we will find out in march if the rumors are true. |

I saw at least 3 Pepsi 2023 new on a famous Abo Dhabi Insta auction. The highest price sold was $21,790 for a 2023 jubilee. Also 4 Pepsi sold the week before as the auctioneer said. They were jacking the prices up because of the rumor of discontinuation (this rumor is from social media not actual ADs in UAE) . Just a Mk4 coming, speculators games in my opinion.

We've all seen posts before where someone's bezel got damaged or cracked from an incident. Watch was sent to Rolex, bezel ordered and replaced in a timely fashion. Wondering if anyone has had any similar situations lately with a BLRO? (Knock on wood) I was curious on how long it takes to receive a replacement nowadays?

I think also if you are on a list and have not been reached it is just polite for any AD to say there just haven't been many coming in. Otherwise, they have to say they are still allocating them to the others ahead of you.

In my opinion, my culture this is the problem. Don’t lie. Be honest. Either there are bigger fish. Fair enough. There aren’t any coming in fair enough. Lying - and let’s call it what it is - is massively unhelpful. Everything that is (still) wrong with the market in a nutshell. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I also heard similar things. Hope production issue (if any) gets resolved soon. BLRO is definitely my grail!
