INCOMING! SotC and advice for the future

Happy to say this one just arrived!

Day-Date 40, Navy Dial with Roman Numerals

Apologies for the amateur photos. The truly don’t do this dial or the collection justice.

The Day-Date joins the current stable of:
Sub Date
Pepsi
Daytona on Oysterflex with Silver Dial

Any suggestions on what to add next? I’m thinking something in yellow….. :)

Cheers!

Very nice! You should share some pictures of your new DD in better lighting.
Regarding your next watch, would you consider selling or trading the Sub for one in gold?

I would just enjoy the moment and the new watch. Forget about getting another watch until you know exactly what you want.

Congratulations! That is a very nice collection. The only watch I would add is a low key beater like an Explorer 36 or 40 or Oyster Perpetual 36 or 41.
As much as I enjoy nice watches, it’s really nice to have a time only under the radar watch to enjoy as well.

I think you have the ultimate collection. You have covered metals, complications, bezels and bracelets. You’d be adding just for the sake of it really imho.

Congratulations. I would keep everything you currently own and add a Sky-Dweller in SS on Jubilee bracelet. Takes care of the Date Just look and is a great looking and wearing watch. If you want to go PM, then a Submariner in YG with either the blue or black dial.

I think you got pretty much everything covered......personally, I'd add a annual or perpetual calendar dress watch from the likes of PP/ALS/FPJ....

You have a great collection from the crown so the next one should be anything but another Rolex...

I'd look at other brands - AP, Vacheron, Patek.

Patek dress piece, preferably on leather strap with rose gold case.

If Rolex, then agreed. Something in yellow or rose gold, whichever is your fancy. I like rose.

Congrats on the DD! Maybe a VC overseas? (4500V or dual time if either speak to you)

I would trade the Daytona but try to replace it with a RG champagne dial Daytona.

Looks good

Have not seen a Blue Roman on Day Date in-person yet.
Is the legibility ok?
In less bright indoor areas? Am thinking mornings as you grab the watch before light are on
