It's interesting. As someone who works in the cycling industry I like seeing Tudor sponsoring a team and the crossover of a couple of my interests. Carbon case, color scheme, cycling specific tachymeter scale are all cool.

FXD platform seems a slightly odd choice to me, no rotating bezel on a Pelagos is a first.

I love the FXD platform, wearing the FXD black presently, but I think this would have made more sense as a Black Bay variant maybe with a rubber strap. But whatever, still kinda cool.

I love Tudors and this is a cool piece, but it's way too busy of a dial for me.

Love seeing the Tudor cycling team sponsorship as well as official timer on some great races.

Good looking chronograph but I prefer stainless steel or TI and a rotating bezel. Still a good looker though.

New Pelagos FXD “cycling edition”

Looks good. Color scheme reminds me of the Tudor Fast Rider Ducati.

I have tried on the Red Bull edition while I was in Greece and was impressed with the carbon composite. This cycling edition has a different solid black texture vs the raw carbon look of the Redbull

As a cyclist, I would have liked to see this watch be a tad smaller and thinner than the normal FXD instead of the opposite. This thing is going to look huge on a pro cyclists' tiny wrist.

Looks sweet. If I didn't have a few tudors that I barely wear, I would buy one of these.

I never wear a watch when cycling as my Garmin Bike Computer gives me that information already.

Honestly, they took the FXD line, and ruined it. Should have just kept it just the original version, and maybe the black version.

Looks great! Wearing my FXD red bull chrono right now. This new smooth bezel chrono should wear incredibly well.

Ruined the FXD line? The original is still available. Why not broaden the offerings to suit more customers? I liked the original but wouldn’t have bought one. Did buy a FXD chrono so I think Tudor knows what they are doing. Maybe they will even make one that suits you some day.

Oh yeah, that's hot.

I did have my heart set on the Red Bull (not the chrono), as my 'next,' but this changes things.

Hmmm....

I like it and will buy one when my AD gets them in. I am supposedly number 1 on the list. I still want the pink chrono but that one does not look like it will happen. I can always hope.

I dropped into the (Bucherer?) Tudor Boutique in Las Vegas last week. The sheer number of variations of this chrono have multiplied like rabbits and the case was full of them. First time I saw the Red Bull version which I found very attractive, I also asked about the pink and the SA’s reply was interesting. “As far as we know it’s for real but that’s all we know. No idea of when or how many we might receive, you can leave your info but it will probably never happen.”
The FXD fixed lugs is the part I’m not sure about, I don’t like not being able to use conventional straps.

Is the SA talking about your chances on getting a call on the pink?

Same Boutique SA was talking about 7 pink for the USA.
The cycling version is also very rare. They are taking names of customers of interest in the boutique for the cycling allocation.

The watch itself does look cool, like it, are there any other colours ranges to it ?

Love it. But 43mm seems a bit large to me. And I have 7.5” wrists…

Tudor is the official timer for the 2024 Giro d' Italia.

I like the Tudor FXD line up. The only time I wear an Apple Watch is while on my road bike. It syncs with me, the bike and computer in some really nice ways that the mechanical watch doesn’t do.

Yeah, I ride every day. The Apple Watch gives me speed, distance, heart rate, and elevation at a glance. Plus, it records a map of your route, which is nice. That’s tough to beat.

No watch when riding - Garmin head unit for me. Also provides power numbers and full cycling dynamics.
Congrats to Tudor for the Giro invite and how to see them join the world tour soon.
