Not fun to take pictures, upload and adjust, post and then see them gone.

You didn't miss much Rob just a pic of a girl with some obnoxious replies that of course got deleted.

Then there was a thread about Rolex calendars that also was swept away in the same storm.

Sometimes it got moved to another sub forum.

Or maybe it was a few of your ghost post that make you post counter go faster than JJ's?

I believe my " free from AD " went because there was a rather funny cartoon posted by a member , but some other member complained in the lines of it being cheesy and somewhere sexist , hence political correct . The calendar was boring , some replies we cheerful , but not to everyones taste and obviously including a mod . As Leo pointed out , we didn't loose much

Perhaps it was construed as promotion of a product for sale by you and I know there are a few around here that were unhappy about the logo on a hat or shirt.

I didn't even get to see the thread, perhaps you should post it on some of the other watch sites if you have not done so yet.

I'm still playing catch up since my last trip and haven't visited everyone yet.

I myself see absolutely no problem with a watch calendar composed entirely of photos of privately owned Rolex watches by amatuer or semi-professional photographers. In fact I think it is a GREAT idea and will buy at least one when they are available.

No John, it was nothing of a sort.

It was a discussion about the boring Rolex calendars that only shows landscape pictures and I showed 5-6 pictures of last years Rolex calendar with macro shots.

Nothing of that , It was the yearly standard free AD give away . I only posted that because I was really disappointed to see there were only Swiss landmarks depicted .
Boring calendar , I had no intention of selling it ... can't think who would like to give money for it anyway . Might post it on the other site just as a give away ...

That was the whole idea with my original question.

On the other hand it gave me the idea to make the 2010 calendar.

I don't know what thread is being referred to, but if it did contain inappropriate material (sexist or other such material) it would have been removed and the poster will be sanctioned.

This thread itself is in the wrong forum too so it is getting moved. When will you guys learn to play by the rules.........
