I firmly believe most people who say they like 12 series better just haven’t seen a HULK in all the right lighting in person and so on… because it’s not even close !! (The 12 series case and so on is infinitely better yes, but even still the hulk edges it out!)
Guys, thank you all together and individually for the kind words!

Yes - I managed to buy a brand new watch with the purchase receipt still in foil from a friend - an experienced collector.

Congrats clever choice. The Hulk is among the few Rolex references in which the old reference is more desirable, and has higher market value than the new reference just after it. I predict the old Panda Daytona will join the few.

Heck yes!!! Love that !! Yeah I’m a brand new from AD ONLY type of guy - HOWEVER, buying a brand new unworn watch with stickers still on it from them open market in this case where it’s discontinued is absolutely the best scenario you could’ve landed PLUS you know the guy?! Awesome !! I sense that you’ll enjoy this piece very much ..

A pic of mine !! (New style card on mine to make matters even better ..when it came in it was first shipment my ad had ever gotten with watches with new card and at first I was super bothered by it .. how funny now it’s like one of the things that makes mine so rare and special !!)

Congratulations on your Hulk! Love the green dial. As you know the dial actually can vary from almost black to bright emerald green depending on light and is very special. I've had mine since 2010 and it's my favorite! Wear it in good health. Cheers!

I didn't know it was such a nice feeling. I cried when I took them off. Piece by piece, I was looking for more pieces of foil on individual elements of the case and clasp. And I keep finding more with my phone. As someone once beautifully wrote, removing the foil from a good watch is like removing stockings from a beautiful woman's legs.
