Excellent, Jon...the OMEGA that started the trend and pulled OMEGA out of the doldrums.

That watch was Nicholas Hayek's dream child. At one stage in the very late '80s/early '90s when OMEGA was in real deep sh!t, they decided to launch that model with Pearce Brosnan in Golden Eye (1994)...and OMEGA have never looked back since. It was a one way ride to success and stardom.

Congrats and wear it in good health, Jon.

Cheers - JJ

Nice! Is that the quartz one? For some reason I really like the quartz Seamasters.

Hi Micah,

If it says "Chronometer" on the dial of an OMEGA, it must be automatic only. They don't endorse Chronometers on their quartz line-up. I think Rolex and, to a certain extent, Breitling are the only ones with quartz chronometers.

What a beauty! Congrats my friend, wear that in good health and enjoy... I'd love to own one of those as well, one of my fave in the Omega line, next to my Speedmaster Pro of course!)
