New 116660 D-Blue

Been admiring this watch for some time and my local AD reached out today and let me know they had received one with their shipment today. I happened to be in the area and, um, 45 minutes later walked out with a new watch.

I have two Submariners - date & no-date - and wondered whether I'd feel that this was too similar to a Sub, yet it feels great on the wrist. I'm a big watch kind of guy and while I really like the iconic style of the Submariner, I've always wished they were a tad bit larger. I wore it for the afternoon and made myself take it off when I got home. It's found a home in the winder - and while it is larger than the Subs, it's not outrageous. Think it will quickly become my daily watch. I'll come back here in a few weeks and post some thoughts after wearing it for a while.
