A gift .. help me decide

She doesn't know so … so I just can't ask her

Will be a gift and I know she likes both but I have no idea which one she prefers …

What would you do ?

-Both mother of pearl dial ( this is a must)
-About the same size
-Zenith has a lot more diamonds but I know she's not that much into diamonds ( on the other hand they are small so not that much 'in your face' In fact. It almost looks like a Rolex fluted bezel :-)
-both steel
-Zenith is an in-house movement (Elite) Montblanc I believe Selita

montblanc

Zenith

My vote. Not exactly the same, but definitely the Zenith.

I voted Zenith because of the in house movement and the thinner bezel makes it look more elegant IMHO.

The Zenith is a little more dressy, IMO, so that is what I vote for.

I prefer the Zenith, but my wife has watches that look more like the MB, with the white strap that makes it look a little more feminine. Also, my wife would probably recognize the MB brand, and have no idea what a zenith is. Any women you can ask?

You're asking a bunch of blokes to decide which women's watch you should purchase for your wife?
And given she's "not much into diamonds", you present us with two.....that have diamonds?
In that respect, I'd say surely the Montblanc is better suited – but I have an idea.

Instead of asking us, ask her – only instead of presenting her with just the two options, throw in a couple of "extras", and say it's someone on the forum asking for advice for his girlfriend/mother (who is a couple of years older/younger than she is).
Make her think it's ironic a bloke asking other blokes, so you'd thought getting a woman's perspective would be more sensible.

So here's a few I thought you might also present her with to consider:

Tough choice.

If she likes busier dials, the MB. Zenith if she likes cleaner dials.

No problem, hopefully she'll advise you on which one she'd like to receive - without realising it, of course.
Good luck
