I've read that the Subs either came on bracelet or Tropic rubber strap. So rubber strap was OEM at one point.

Love the look of this. Are these the end links from Eugene or are they original? I would love to get in touch with Eugene if anyone knows how?
I've got a 1675/3 that I'd like to put on this very strap...

Hi there. I would say its mostly based on personal opinion/preference. I myself do not like straps on a subC but some leather straps look good on Daytonas I would say. Some people might do it to preserve their stainless steel :)

..just about everything, is a matter of personal opinion and/or preference... and there are some very attractive 'bands' on Rolexs posted, that Im sure many will agree look Great...!..
That's what 'personalization' is all about...!! There are quite a few posted on here that 'tickle' my fancy....!! - Kudos to those, that go 'out' of the 'box'....!!

Thanks Tom
Its made by a company in Paris called ABP. The link to their website is as follows and some of their creations are quite incredible. But..... expensive too..... If I recall the Alligator with orange stitching and orange leather lining was c. $600. The Ostrich on the Red Sub a bit less. http://abp-paris.com/watchbands_crea...p?rid=7&&cid=1 |
