i don't see anything after lightly sanding it down. just do a slight bit at the top edges of each strap so it does not put high pressure on the bezel.

jmho and of course ymmv. worked fine for me and is very easy.

Okay. I will give it a go. Do you recall if you had to sand the entire width of the strap, or just the sides, or just the center?
