Do you like to wear your watch tight or loose?

Curious if you like to wear your watch tight or loose and what you can do if you can't seem to get it just right?

I like mine right in between tight and loose, just above the wrist bone

The correct answer is loose enough to get your pinky finger between the bracelet and your wrist, but I personally like my watches on the tighter side. I don't like the case slipping or moving when I turn my wrist. I've been told that wearing a watch too loose results in excess wear on the bracelet. Regardless, my preference is on the tighter side.

Try using the micro adjustments to get a better fit. Personally I like it on the tighter side. Just enough to leave the imprint of the oyster caseback :)

I can fit a pinky comfortably between my wrist and bracelet.

Depends on the watch.

I wear my Rolex watches (GMT, Dweller, and Daytona) loose. My Offshore tight. And my Royal Oaks and Nautilus somewhere in between.

Tighter side. I don't want it to move at all really with my wrist movement.

I like it right before tight. So, not too tight.

My wrist continuously changes size so never get it perfect. Touch too tight when hot, touch too loose when cold. The easy link is a god send. Never had a glide lock

Depends on the watch. This bad boy flops around too much if it’s worn loose. I usually like them a little loose except for this one!

This ^.

Tight enough not to flap around like a lady's bracelet, but loose enough not to leave an imprint when I take it off. Basically tight/loose enough to fit my pinky finger between the bracelet and wrist.

Just to the point where it isn't sliding around. If I can't get a watch just right on the bracelet, I put it on a strap and punch holes if I have to.

Leather/ nato straps I like a bit tighter so it’s not sliding around. Metal oyster style I like a bit looser. Easily slip a pinky in between.

A bit on the tighter side for me. Can't stand my watch flopping around.

Loose enough to move higher or lower with a slight push but tight enough to not rotate around the wrist unintentionally. For me that's less than being able to slide a finger in easily but in general not tight enough to leave even a temporary mark when removed.

I wear mine a bit tighter (no pinky between). I also wear mine below wrist bone next to wrist.

This is how I like mine. I didn't think there was a correct way. Far too many variables, not least the preferences of the people wearing them.
