SD4K update and important question

Hello everybody

I wanted to update an earlier post I made regarding the choice between a
116600 SD4K and a submariner 116610LV (hulk).

So I ended up opting for the SD4K, both because it was less expensive and also a better daily wear watch (for me anyway).

It’s in very good condition and unpolished, but I have a question about the clasp because when I was doing research on these, everyone mentioned that they had a bead-blasted inside clasp and this one does not.

Is this POLISHED inside clasp a feature that may possibly have been on some production years or do they ALWAYS have the beaded-blast clasp?

Mine has a polished inside clasp.

Thanks

But…

Here is what I ended up acquiring.
I really like it and it wears very well. It doesn’t feel much larger than my submariner however, I haven’t tried wearing a long sleeve cuff yet.

Normal, they transitioned from textured to polished.

Mine has the beaded blast clasp and was from the last year of productio. So I guess it varies
