Knight Rider on TV

Anyone seen the 2hr show last week of Knight Rider? It brought back memories of the old series - initially my thoughts on the Mustang being used for the car didn't make sense since I would think the producers would have used a car that was more "advanced" or prototype looking. No disprect to Mustang Owners.

The Mustang design did grow on me and it does look good. I just didn't like it when they added a double wing.

I wonder if it will become another TV series...

I recorded it and watched it with my son. I thought it was nice that they included David Hasselhoff in the ending. I didn't mind the car being a Mustang. I just thought the whole show was a Ford commercial - even the villains car was Ford and the only GM truck included was completely destroyed. I grew tired of the Ford Focus commercials made with the show's cast. I'm sure they'll bring back the series.

The Shelby mustang's cool. I think the new car fits. GM got no Firebirds out yet. The new Camaro perhaps?

I watched it Vernon and it brought back a lot of memories from the TV show with the Hoff and KITT.

That was a goos show and I think anyone that weatched regularly would agree. However I think this TV movie wasn't so good.

No current version of the Trans Am being made now to modernize it for the movie. I liked the Mustang I like them in general, but this was off the hook IMO. Did you heat it's exhaust note?

Just my

Did any one else catch the 137mpg KITT gets now

I kinda enjoyed it. It was different enough from the original to stand on its own, but now I want to see the original all over again! Yeah, I would like to watch a new Knight Rider series with my son, I hope he enjoys it as much as I did at his age.

Liked the Mustang, hated the double wing- cheeeeeezie! The show needs a Rolex lurking about, too...

I am a big fan of Knight Rider and had high hopes for the new series. But that 2 hour pilot movie was just painful to watch.

Kitt as a mustang just doesnt seem right. Since there is no Firebird out at the moment, using a Z06 would have been an ideal choice

BUT A MUSTANG???

Question, the Hoff should comeback as Michael Knight with an updated KITT still in the Firbird family and do the show again. Magnum PI should comeback with tom selleck driving a Ferrari 360 and new stories cuz none of the other shows were linked.

The car they are using is a Mustang GT 500 KR, Kr meaning King of the Road, select Ford dealers will get them, and believe it or not, they will bring more of a premium then the Ford GT, my estimates, from my Ford dealers are saying that they are pre-sold, and going for over 150,000 US dollars.
