** Size 26 TURKISH LOVE : ZEUGMA CONTENT ** [XL POST]
Guys ! Guys ! Guys ! After a lot of delay, on this rather sleepy monday night .. I have decided to put together this thread that has been long overdue since this represents The Best 26 mm Strap I have experienced so far and has been waiting on the sidelines for a few weeks now .. [ for the 24mm, the recognition belongs to a Delaurian patiently waiting for its turn ]
MADE IN TURKEY and Hand-Made by well known strap-artisan, Nuri Fodul, this TURKISH AMMO STRAP represents his craftsmanship at its finest. I placed an order for this Custom Strap soon after purchasing my 305. Nuri's communication and swiftness of replies amazed me. He communicated about various aspects of the strap on multiple occasions ... The anticipation of this master-strap really made the wait time of 6 week sound not-so-bad The End Result : Sent in an awesome looking leather pouch, the strap looked gorgeous enough for me to admire it for days before finding the courage to mount it on ;) I almost want to buy an identical strap for back-up when using this one .. CraZiEE.. EHH..I kno. I probably am as excited about this strap as I am for any new watch arrival. Guess it shows ... LET THE PICTURES DO THE TALKING I absolutely love the character of this leather .. Helps the 305 make one fine statement [ Not that it needs a lot of help .. as is ] Hate to add a pile of pictures but just couldn't help myself ... A Collection of Pictures ....... And a Black and White to close off the show ... My apologies for an extra long post as a testament of my strap-obsession. Cheers N |

Thanks for sharing your excitement, it is so evident in the post.
Lovely tan colour to the strap., the 1950 stamp on the keeper is an instant hit for me. Congratulations. Cheers, Richard |

wow!
that's one sweet looking strap Nishant. Congrats! Wear it in good health...
If you don't mind my asking, can you let me know what length the strap is, as well as thickness? Quite tempted to get a similar one for my 233. I have thin wrists, 6.5" and was wondering what length to order, should I go ahead. My previous experience with such straps is that because of their thickness, not much tail is visible if I order a length of 125/75... cheers! |

Looks pretty good. Like the colours.
Is it me or does the holes aren't really aligned properly? Wondering what Panerai would say about the OP logo on a third party strap. |

Another great photo-shoot
That's a fantastic strap, sir!!!
Tell you what though, I'd love to see it on a 372 / 422... anything like that on your short-list... ?

There z the catch .. It is not an OP logo .. In theory, it is TP .. The Thai Paneristi Logo.. but gives the same impression as OP : nothing wrong with that. Quote:
1) IWC BP 5004 / 5009-01 2) BPFF 3) JLC Alarm Rossi 46mm LE 4) PAM 233/372/389/368 5) And some years in future, an AP ROO Chronograph 44mm The PAM 422 doesn't sing to me .. The font appears crowded [ compared with 372 ] and the dial is busy [ compared with 372 ]. A 372 with sapphire crystal and there would be no contest at all ... Plexi for a 8K watch is not my thing. Among PAMs, 233 is probably where my heart is. 389 is pretty cool as well but would require my 305 to go and I cannot justify spending 3-3.5K more simply to get a ceramic bezel. Just like 233, I have wanted the IWC BP for the longest time. It makes a unique statement and will surely end my quest for an aviation-themed watch ... On the flip side, I worry that 233 wont really quench my thirst for PAMs ... BPFF .. Love Hate relationship .. really have to try it in person. and the JLC Rossi .. Ahh ! Again, it ticks all the right boxes for me .. and great value for what it represents. Thoughts ? |

368!
That should satisfy your PAM craving for a while...
