Thought on the new GMT-Master II Coke Zero?

I like it a lot, including the gilt.

I’m very happy they brought it down to 39mm

red with green is the ugliest thing you can ever find in the universe.

looks like those guys put green in afterthought.
They did the whole design first, then they were underwhelmed by the monotone, so they added the ugly green to the second hand.

Classic new launch reactions, you should go back and see how the BLNR was first received in 2013 - and look at it now, the Batman, the legend, people love it. It was the same with the all green Sub. It’s always like that.

But the all black ceramic GMT has it’s very own cool factor to it. Especially as it gets older and a bit beat up. And the collection needs that, so it’s great to see a more discrete, more tactical GMT being available at the AD again.

I think this combo looks incredible. Can't wait to see it in person! Definitely, a good option on jubilee!!

As a huge fan of the LN, I dig this one. I guess for a modern GMT it’s as understated as you can get these days.

The GMT hand and text shoulda been grey to match the bezel . It's a no for me. Otherwise I'd own it

It will be an easy model to add to the GMT collection since I suspect they won't be flying out of the dealer cases anytime soon. A solid blue insert would have been my preference, or even the tried-and-true "Coke" version.

Well, I really like it, both on jubilee and oyster, and much prefer it to the BLNR and VTNR.

Lame, would have preferred black bezel all the way around.

It’s the antithesis to all the loud blinged out Daytonas they released.

I like it quite a lot. I've found myself slowly souring on the bi-color ceramic bezels during actual ownership. They look awesome on paper, but in actual wear can get a bit too flashy/bordering garish. Soured on the Pepsi and sold it, and now I'm kinda feeling similar about the BLNR. I guess that's where I prefer the old aluminum bezels.

So I think this color scheme is much less flashy/garish but still a bit more interesting than just a single color. It would be something I'd be tempted into doing a two for one swap (my BLNR and Sub).

I think they forced the issue with the bi-color bezel. Would have been better as an LN.

It’s like the colour you order for a new car when you can’t afford the nice ones! Like primer.

Would have looked better with an all black bezel. I don’t see the point of Barack and grey.

This is clearly the GMT-Master II Gin&Tonic.
Just a hint of something green.

Rolex: Hey yo Bob (parts manager for the last 30 years)… what do we got overstock on that’s been laying around and we can use up?

Bob: Umm, looks like we have a sh*t ton of leftover dials, hands, and bezels from the LN you decided to discontinue back in ‘19.

Rolex: Bob, you’re a genius! Hey, grab a Q-tip and throw some bleach on the bottom half of all them bezels - we’re not messing around with bi-color bezels no more. Botta-bing gotta-boom, looks like we have our only stainless steel release for 2024 ya’ll!!

Bob: But guys, isn’t that just sorta cutting corne-

Rolex: Shut up, Bob! What do you know? Now if you’ll excuse us, we gotta run to our Le Mans party. Can you hear that Bob? CHA CHING!!!

I'm liking it. Green is my fav color so there's just a hint of it. The rest is more understated. Hopefully it's general unpopularity means this would be more attainable. Sprite would be my first choice.

Thought on the new GMT-Master II Coke Zero?

I did like it from the beginning, but as the day goes on, I like it more and more.

It’s very classy and understated.

Probably my second favorite SS GMT after the BLNR.

It's less boring than the older 116710ln. Grey has been a trending color for a while, c.f. the slate dial, Tudor 925, the latest PP Aquanaut dual time...

I like it. Not enough to get one when I already have a Pepsi and a Coke though. I probably would have gone with something other than green as well but i think its a good addition.

I really like it. I own an LN so perhaps I am biased. I’m also one of the few that doesn’t love the BLRO.
