Seiko, new oyster

just ordered a 22mm SS Oyster bracelet for my Seiko Divers 150m watch. This thing is about 32 years old and the rubber strap is so old that it is crumbling as I take it out of a storage trunk. Anyone had any experience with this SS Oyster bracelet? I got it off of Amazon.

Sorry I don't. I opted for a Yobokies Anvil instead. He makes a few other ones too. Here's what it looks like

Ray, I made the switch from the dried out rubber strap a few years ago and am very pleased. The bracelet is very tight for folded metal which helps the watch from flopping around. I think you'll like the difference. If not, doesn't cost too much to go back.

Nice jubilee and oyster, folks I haven't actually seen it first-hand, but we will see when it comes in this afternoon. (I just threw a Nato strap on it for now.) As I said, this watch is about 32 years old. I wonder what it would cost to have it cleaned? After 25 years in storage, I think it could use some maintenance. I'll post some pics when all is done.

P.S.: Mailman, Rodrob59, very nice bracelets

Nice Spork I like the mods The main reason I went with Yobokies was because I was able to get a bracelet that's 22mm on 20mm end links.

Thankyou. I agree, this bracelet would look better with end links, I always have that sort of feeling that something is missing.

I just purchased a Watchadoo for my old trusty Seiko. We'll see when it gets here.

Thanks! It's got that vintage feel and look. Now I know why vintage is so desirable to so many. Cheers

I can't believe this. I've been wearing the Seiko for two days, now, and the time is spot-on--still after 32 years.
