I can't really understand why........ The thread was just photos of various celebs (beautiful women) wearing Rolexes, all published before in National newspapers and magazines and indeed in other forums..... all fairly tasteful so not at all sure why the thread was completely deleted??????

Shame as some cool photos....... I appreciate mods don't need to explain themselves but was this a copyright issue or just a PC issue to placate potentially complaining members???

Don't ask me, have seen plenty of threads like that before. Guess the mods don't want this to be like a boys club, which is fair enough, it's a watch forum.

Maybe we should hang out at a beautiful women forum instead, but be careful, they get angry if you post pics of your watches, and delete them immeditely.

I hear ya Steve.... There were quite a few complaints from some of the ex and current female members about threads like that..... Apparently they regard these threats are "sexist", so the mods has to do something about it.... (how often do you hear male members complaint if there is a pic of a male celeb with a defined 6-pack wearing a Rolex watch?!?)

I suppose this type of thread would probably be more "appropriate" at the Darkside section of TRF

There are rules and we just need to follow them

Eric, I agree fully that there need to be rules and TRF is the better for them. I would never even consider posting a pic with nudity or bad taste......

But that thread had photos of fully clothed women wearing Rolexes as well as photos you could see in any newspaper or magazine. Indeed, even the ones wearing bikinis, could be seen on any beach anywhere in the world.

I have even seen many of those very same photos in existing live threads on TRF, eg the one about Rolex spotting......

Surely the mods are not saying we can never post tasteful pics of beautiful women wearing Rolexes.......????

Never mind, I guess rules are rules.. I'd much prefer to abide by them and continue posting on TRF, rather than being banned


One thing I do wish to know is.. Does this mean no more lady with Rolex photo's?
