Using Fisher Space refills in other pens

First off, please try to understand that for a variety of reasons the only ballpoint cartridge I'm willing to use is the Fisher Space Pen. That's been going on for many years and won't change, but what I'd like to know is what other brands will and won't take a Fisher refill because I'm very willing to use other higher-quality pens as long as I can use the Space pen refill, which come in several sizes. I'm guessing nothing's universal, and that all Fishers will work in some but none at all will work in others. So if anyone knows any specific brands or pens they would recommend that definitely will or will not accept a Fisher refill, I'd appreciate hearing your suggestions and warnings. Thanks much.

Standard Space Pen refills can be used in any pen able to take a standard Parker Pen Company ballpoint refill, using the small plastic adaptor that is supplied with each refill. Fisher also makes a Space Pen-type refill that fits Cross pens, one that fits 1950s-style Papermate pens (or any pen that uses that type of refill), and a "universal" refill that fits some other ballpoint pens. (from wikipedia)

And take a look here, as well: http://www.spacepen.com/

Hope this helps.....and good luck!
