Basel 2012: Which unexpected piece would be your favourite?

What if Rolex surprises us with an unexpected release at next Basel? Which one would be your favourite?

I must admit, I'd be most intrigued by a RG Sub-C on a rubber strap

Since it is "unexpected"... It's going to be difficult to guess

I'm quite happy with Rolex's offering now.

A green themed 50th anniversary SS Daytona would be awesome in 2013

I didn't mean to start a guessing feast. Noone can tell which one has more chance to shape up as a real product than the others. Of course there's a slim chance that Rolex will ever introduce a rubber strap, and we all know that technically it's difficult to produce a two-tone ceramic bezel. I've started the poll to measure which one of the "dream models" would get the most votes, which one would get the most love from the WIS community

I voted for the perpetual calendar

But would not be likely to buy one. It would just be nice to see rolex do it.

What I would buy is a rose gold gmt on bracelet.

Out of these choices, I like to see the DJ2 with the domed bezel. The current bezel is a bit too flashy for my and is the only reason I won't go for the rhodium dial with blue arabic DJ2.

One of the things I'd love to see that's not on this list are Double coated AR crystals, at least as an option.

Would much rather see models that pay tribute to some past historic models.........DRSD, Red Sub, 6239 or 6241.............The gold, platinum or titanium models hold very little interest to me..........but it sure is fun dreaming!!!!

I picked "A brand new Platinum Perpetual Calendar" as I would love to see Rolex get into the complications game.

Perpetual Calendar makes an interesting choice - am I wrong to suggest if it were done then it would be either SS or YG as a first release?
