You look like someone who knows his pen very well.
My Rose Gold Boheme changed color within few months, and I didn't even use it that much. Do you have any tips to rectify this?

Do you mean the finish wore off or tarnished somehow? I'm a little bit confused by the changing color.....I would suggest calling your local MontBlanc Boutique and see what they have to say. Is it still under warranty...otherwise their may be a charge to correct the pen. I know my favorite MontBlanc FP has a chrome finish over stainless steel and after two years of everyday use it has developed pitting in the cap. I do plan on having it fixed by MontBlanc but am not looking forward to the cost of the repair...but that's the price I will have to pay for using it very hard and everyday!!!

It shows stain, that cannot be removed by a wipe obviously.
I didnt know they come with warranty, lol. I'm nit sure appearance is covered by it though...

Since the bands are plated( I believe)why not use a jewelry cleaner and see what happens...or as I said previously check with MontBlanc first.....

A beautiful pen and watch combo. Congrats on getting the correct pen for your needs. People don't realize how big of a decision buying the correct pen is. I am still looking for help on getting one that will work well in my line of work.

I was at work and they were signing a contract and the person said we need a special pen to sign this with. No one touches my burgundy MB 146 Fountain Pen, but, I figured the ball point would be O. K. He signed the contract and dropped the pen on the table like it was a Bic.

I have successfully shined the metal work on my MB’s with Semi-Chrome and a microfiber towel used very, very, very, lightly.

As for the fragility of the body of the pen, it depends on how it lands I dropped an MB BP from about five feet on a tile floor (too many things in my hands and a package caught the pen in my shirt pocket) and was amazed that it was not scratched.

Oh....how lucky! I hate when people borrow my expensive belongings and use them like they'd stolen it! It's a big no-no! Plz take care of your strong pen! He's a surviver! :)

Thank you, cateyez15. Yes, everything else is perfect but the stone is bugging me. I just can't casually clip this pen on my pocket.

Sandar, I carry a cheap throw away pen(Rollerball or Gel writer) with me as well so if someone needs a pen to use I give them that one instead of one of my fountain pens!!!
