Numero Uno

The 3714 is a perfect watch in terms of weight, size and quality. I purchased the 2 as it was at a price I cannot refused, then after 2 years I changed the dial and hands to 1 and never regreted. Personally I love the brass colour hands with the blue chrono hands and the colour of the dial.

2. 3 is too busy for me, and with 1 I'd be worried about readability with the gold hands against the white dial.

The fact that people reply "none" makes me think they their time would have been better spent keeping their mouth shut. They joy of the hunt and peoples taste in watches is so different, if you don't like the choices, don't contribute to the thread.

You got replies like "maybe try to stretch and get a used Daytona", what a silly statement. This just goes to show you that most around these parts no nothing about watches, after all, the IWC 5001 has a MSRP of $12,400.00. You could get a new Daytona for that price but I would personally wear a G Shock before I wore a Daytona.

The IWC 500107 gets my vote. The blue hands against the white dial is just stunning in person. The movement is flat out beautiful, so is the overall detail of the watch.

I recently have been looking at a Baume & Mercier. They make some pretty sharp looking pieces. If I were you, I would go look at them and try them on. I have never had a Baume & Mercier on my wrist, so I cant comment on their quality, but I can say they have some very appealing designs and a nice price point.

At first sight I thought the #1 had my vote but it seems like the blue'd hands of the second one make it way too beautiful for me to let it pass, therefore I vote for the #2!

+1, it's generally not a good idea to do what it is you're shouting at others for doing in the same post, does not exactly strengthen your case.

The Portuguese are nice, gold or blue.

That B&M is a bit cluttered for my taste

#2. The blued hands looks the more appropriate of the two IWC choices, and IWC would be my preference.

I got the #2 for my husband a few years back and he loves it. He gets compliments on it all the time and it keeps time way better than both my Rolex watches.

Aspirin, #1 is actually on my list to have someday... very nice piece. Then I saw 500107, now I'm torn as it's $4.5K more. So #2 would be a good compromise for me.
