Where did the 3-6-9 Submariner Dial thread go?

For those that saw the thread earlier this week, it's finishing shortly on ebay and appears to be an excellent find for the seller!

Currently £9.9k 30mins to go, if it shoots past 10k could do anywhere between £12 and if two or more cognoscenti with surrogate correct case/CB/calibre in a bidding war £50k !

This kissing L Explorer dials are not for faint hearted (underline is interesting too ) - I was involved in securing one for UK for co Xupes (now C24Uk) 3 yrs ago... and there was enormous speculation on the dial validity - It sold in the end but took 2 years to move and much huffery and puffery ensued....

I wondered whether the OP had deleted it / asked for it to be deleted but then that would seem weird as it was a good 'advert'. I didn't even go looking for it; my phone/ebay recommended it to me.

Where did the 3-6-9 Submariner Dial thread go?

26000 pounds. Wow. Will some dealer dare to claim ignorance when it pops up in a watch in 3 months, or will it be advertised as a put-together?

Edit to add: or will the buyer even care one way or the other?

I would not have cared. Yesterday I thought how awesome it would be to put that in my OTHER 59 square crown case. Would not have been correct, but it sure as hell would be fun.

I was surprised someone here didnt try to buy it beforehand.

Anyway, good result. It was a rare find.
