Plus 10 seconds
In 24 hrs. On my 5513. Back from service not long ago. Just needs a simple regulation right? Is this something RSC might do for me while I wait? Am I being too picky about the +10 seconds?

Don't rush out for regulation did you fully wind your watch before wearing, although the 5513 was not COSC tested its quite capable of running to that spec.I would wait a few weeks might settle down if not if you must have it regulated its quite a simple job around 30 minutes to do.

Thanks for the input! Yeah it Ws fully wound and I even rested it crown up when not wearing it... Agreed that the 1520 movement should be able to run within cosc specs... Perhaps I could bring it to RSC then for that?

always happy with a watch that gains. It's the "losers" that drive me crazy. |

And lets be honest although quite capable to run to COSC spec but does a few seconds either way really matter especially on the vintage watches. So at the bottom end of the COSC scale watch is 99.994% accurate your at the moment is 99.990% accurate.

If it is regularly 10 seconds every day for a few weeks then it can be regulated. If it is erratic 10 one day, then -2 the next, then 5 etc. Then it is beyond regulating in its current state.

Good to know. Thanks. I'll keep my eye on it more. I think it's just generally fast. What would make a watch erratic? A friend if mine told me that his 1675 is like that... He doesn't know what to do. Inviato dal mio iPad utilizzando Tapatalk
