Question using quick date change feature on 16610

Hi, I have a sub 16610 which was released in 2002-2003. This is my first rolex and I read somewhere that it damages your watch when you quick change your date during midnight to 4am and 8pm to 10pm. I was wondering if this was true to my model? if so, what would be the safest way to use this quick change feature? thank you in advance for help!

No. It's not a problem with modern Rolex watches. But if you like to play it safe, just advance the time to, say, 6am and then use the quickset.

thank you for your input on this topic. One question, I'm curious as to how you know this. is it from your experience? or any reference online?

You can change the date on your 16610 at any time.

I've discussed it with my Rolex trained and authorized watchmaker.

Exactly 100% correct this applies to all modern day Rolex watches.
