Beautiful! I'm looking at getting the 41mm, however, I'm hesitant because I find the crown very stiff to wind. Is yours the same? Given I'd be wearing it in rotation, this is a concern for me.

Mine is not stiff to wind, feels fine. I was gonna get the 41, but 43 literally does not feel or look any different. I got mine in Tokyo, which I suggest if you ever go get yourself a watch.

Great watch! I have the 43 in the same configuration and love how it also turns blue in certain settings.

Mine has the stiff crown, but does not really bother me at all

I am struggling in my decision between the 41mm and 43mm Navitimer.

I have a 7" wrist and both look okay. I tend to like smaller watches (most of my watches are 36-40), however, as a aviation watch, aren't they supposed be be larger?

I know the classic Navitimer is 46mm and is out of the question big.

My Speedmaster (42mm) and Panerai (44mm) seem big for me, however the Navitimer does wear differently.

In my Navitimer sizing struggle, I have learned that the original size of the Navitimer was 41mm.

This information may make this decision easier...

I can take it up a notch further on sizing. They all wear small relative to their listed size. The 41 wears like a 39, the 43 wears like a 41 and the 46 wears like a 44.

The 43 is the smart buy for most people, me included, but the 46 is amazingly cool and sang to me the most. Amazingly it didn't feel too big at all and I have an average size wrist.

This is a great post. The Navi was on my radar for my years to be my "Breitling Grail". Very similar to my SubC Mariner.

I tried on the most recent reference of the Navitimer for our a year back and forth at my local AD. And the 43 just felt a wee bit smaller than the actual size IMHO.

To that end, I ended up with the 46mm black dial. In full transparency, I do feel the 46mm does have big wrist present. And can barely pull it off with my 7" wrist. BUT I don't regret purchasing it and most likely will never leave my collect FWIW. I do really love it and try to wear it often.

I did purchase with the steel bracelet and love it. But the Panerai in me bought the black and brown leather straps.

Good Man! When buying a watch you should always go with your heart. 46mm black dial Navitimer is absolutely fantastic. Post some pics if you can.

I actually bought two Breitling's today, but not the Navitimer just yet. My problem is I have no idea which one to get. But I'll absolutely be getting one soon.

If you're wondering, I picked up a Super Ocean Heritage chronograph and and a classic AVI chronograph P-51 Mustang. They both arrive on Thursday and I cannot wait to get them. I'll post pics when they arrive.

Breitling is far and away my current favorite brand these days.

Congratulations on your new Breitling! I really like the new Classic AVI models, and I hope to get one soon—probably the Mustang, just like you. Make sure to post plenty of photos when you get it!

Here are my three Breitling chronographs.

Thank you very much. Does it look a wee bit big on my wrist, in full transparency yes. But we I compared the identical black dial B01 43 vs 46, it was a no brainer imho. It just has so much wrist presence. And believe it or not when you compare specs: lug-to-lug, dial width, etc it really is not much bigger.

I truly love the Breitling brand and was my first "luxury" watch many moons ago. For some reason I got wrapped up in the Rolex world (ugh) and now have come full circle back to Breitling. The Navi was very high on my list and couldn't be happier. I always buy a watch with a purpose, and this was a birthday gift to myself.

Pics of my first two Breitlings. Absolutely loving them both. Already on the hunt for my next. Navitimer, Avenger or Super Ocean.
