Today is a terrible time to be a consumer...of anything. No one knows how the chip shortage/covid/supply chain issue turns out. Once on the other side of this, do we enter a new world of product shortage in which case auto makers and other markets manipulate supply and prices?

Best to sit still IMO. I'm going to enjoy my cars and watches which were all bought below MSRP while I still can.

agreed. todays consumer is priced out of everything. the only way out is getting lucky with investments or taking on massive debt, which is not the way it should be for things like decent cars or homes
