Just realized you weren't the original question asker!

I just went here: https://www.glashuette-original.com/en/contact/

At the bottom you can make an enquiry. I got a response from Stephen of GO USA pretty quickly with prices (was $190 for strap and $591 for deployant clasp) and I said looks good and it was shipped real quick after. Super painless after months of pain trying to get from ADs but I know most GO ADs are great mine locally just seems to be awful maybe cause I'm young looking.

This is super helpful...thank you! I just submitted an inquiry. In your opinion, is the deployment clasp worth it? $600 seems pretty steep for a clasp. I love this watch on the bracelet, but I would like to have the synthetic strap for weekends (to keep the bracelet in good condition). Cheers!

To normal humans its not even close to worth it just like paying $10k for a watch should institutionalize someone. To us watch psychos who want the OEM clasp its just another sigh and click transaction :D

Tbh its a fine clasp but not even close to my favorite deployant. If you dont care about it having the GO logo you can find a ton of universal clasps for under $100 that wont be finished as nice but will work just as well or better.

Thanks a lot, really appreciated. And your pictures of the gold goodness are great too. Thanks for sharing such a stunner!

One more from me, the day is coming to an end and the beach is almost empty again.

Hi Joacim.

What are your thoughts on Glashütte PanoInverse?
Should i get one?
I like that is manual winding. And also darker appearance.
Should i get it with bracelet or strap?

This is a watch you love or hate, and it appeals to you so go for it.

I have the first model that I think is more successful than the one sold now. My model has a fatter bezel and smaller spaces between the balance bridge and the case.

The bracelet gives the watch a sportier look and it is completely outstanding. It is smarter to buy it with a bracelet as it will be a better deal to buy the strap separately.

Good luck.

Oh no! The straight razors are from a once over 800 piece collection from the past decade plus. I sold off the majority when I got into wristwatches in 2014. I’ve kept a few special pieces, mostly pairs and “Gentlemen’s Sets”.

As for the bracelet it is transforming to the PanoReserve. As much as I enjoy the watch on various straps I prefer the bracelet by a large margin. It has been a daily wear for over 60 days now. I’m saving for an A. Lange & Söhne but since I’m likely only able to afford a Saxonia entry level reference I’d imagine the G.O. will remain in my possession. Cheers

Beautiful piece , i am really thinking of getting one of these in the coming weeks . I am just little bit afraid of the size . How does it wear ? I dont know how long you have had yours but have you ever thought it was too big ? Any regrets ? Can it be a daily ? I know its a lot of questions but its an expensive piece , better to ask than to be sorry :)

This video is from 2017, but it's a really fascinating insider view of the Glashutte Original watch making process. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Cbt2ssvBUw

That green looks really nice, how does it wear? I have a 7.5" wrist so I don't think I will have a problem with it but it would be nice to hear that it wears smaller than expected

Does anyone know if USA buyers should be able to expect a discount from AD's? I'm pretty new to this brand but I like everything I see so far and no hoops to jump through like Rolex these days.

Thanks! My wrist size is 7.25” so you won’t have an issue. I think it would wear well even with smaller wrists.

I think you could ask for a discount. They are usually readily available which also is appealing in today’s market.

It’s the right diver to match my collection FP Journe. Limited production. Great finishing. Enthusiast recognition. Really hard to build an argument against it.
